Sustainability

At Sejal Anujah Shah, we are proud to be a slow fashion label that values quality, sustainability, and ethical production practices. Our designs are one-of-a-kind, crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, and tailored to your unique vision. As a designer, I prioritise creating elegant, timeless styles that can be worn for years to come, rather than chasing fleeting trends.

We are committed to being a sustainable brand, and we take every effort to reduce our impact on the environment. We carefully source our materials, using eco-friendly options wherever possible, and produce most of our pieces in our Greater London-based atelier. By focusing on quality materials and traditional couture finishing techniques, we are able to create garments that will become heirloom pieces for our clients.

We are constantly striving to improve our sustainability efforts, and we believe that creating a more ethical and intentional fashion industry is crucial. Our goal is to provide our clients with beautiful, high-quality garments that not only make them look and feel their best but also align with their values.

Timeless

At Sejal Anujah Shah, we believe that being non-traditional doesn't mean sacrificing elegance. Our designs prioritise timeless dressing over fleeting trends, ensuring that you will want to wear them again and again. We combine glamorous, season-less designs with artisanal craftsmanship to create garments that you will cherish and care for.

Fabrics

To minimise our contribution to waste, Sejal Anujah Shah repurposes calico used for toiles as many times as possible and only purchases as much fabric as needed for each client. Scraps are repurposed as poof stool stuffing, donated to small businesses to be made into accessories, or kept in the atelier for future use. By prioritising sustainability and responsible sourcing of materials, Sejal Anujah Shah is committed to creating high-quality garments that can be cherished for years to come.

Embroidery

To ensure the artisans are paid fairly for their work and treated with respect. In addition to fair wages, we also work with my artisans to ensure they have safe and comfortable working conditions. It is important that the entire production process is ethical and sustainable, from sourcing materials to the final embellishments. By prioritising the well-being of our artisans and the environment, we are able to create truly beautiful pieces that our clients can feel proud to wear.

Demand quality not just in the products you buy, but in the life of the person who made it
